Jean Deiana grew up in a stone floor factory and his passion was born in this environment.
He started as an apprentice and then followed a professional training from 1973 until 1982. He learned from craftsmen everything about the stone floor (from "handmade Stone floor" to" semi-mechanical stone floor"). This cursus led him to become a trainer and the leader of a new team.
Enthousiastic and passionate, Jean settled down in 1982 and created "les Terres Cuites du Luberon" starting with the hand made stone floor (video) and then, building himself his own wood-oven.
His first customers were friends and farmers from Cavaillon who bought essentially ground stone floors !
Patricia Deiana took an essential part through personalizing home decoration with enamels.
Her gift for drawing, her sense of creativity and her ability to listen to the clients'wishes allow her to offer the customers adequate advice for the elaboration of a personalized product.
